Birthday Month

It’s November y’all! Aside from my birthday on the 17th, another big thing is about to happen. After 3 years and 6 months, comes the cheers for a new boss, new colleagues, new everything. Yes, I’ll be reporting for a new job.

I was informed that I will be working with Apple units. Being an Apple virgin, the least I could do is to have myself informed with the humps and bumps of this new environment through research and mere imagination

Oh how I wish I could own one.

What made you smile today?

Not what but WHO. Just had a video call from my boyfriend. Oh, he's such a sweetie!

Currently reading “The Kite Runner”. Kinda hating myself for not knowing that it is snowing in Afghanistan. All along, I thougt it’s an arid land of extreme temperature and deserts. Oh well, oh well… Now I know.
Credit goes to Google for making snowboarding in life for noobs so exhilarating!

If you’re fat…

If you’re fat…
- You find it hard to drag yourself wherever you wanted to go. Like a sloth.
- Your old shirts and pants no longer fit.
- You deprive yourself of fast food meals and other unhealthy foodies.
- Then you / your wrist and die.
Looking at the current state of my tummy, I think it’s just time to go back to mountaineering. Weekend jogging and diet (this is my story so let it be called that way) fusion is not enough to burn these annoying flabs.
Ugghh…

One WEAKend at Coron, Palawan (Dog Whispherers)

After a long trek up Mt. Tapyas, we were welcomed by the paws of Jack, a Rottweiler. Taking pictures with him feels kinda weird but it was all fun. Though well trained, we can’t help but cringe every once in a while and be wary not to get nearer, or else, our arms will serve as his dinner.
Now I’m missing my dog (Kuya Bulldog) who used to wake me up every weekend. I remembered how I haven’t had an opportunity to fool him by pretending to be asleep. Oh, I just miss those times. Right now, He’s busy playing with the angels over the fluffy clouds. “Introduce me to them when I get there. OK”

One WEAKend at Potipot Island

We’ve been itching to explore Potipot Island since March this year. However, fortuitous events prevented us from doing so. And yes. After two months. Touch down!

The bus is scheduled to fly off to Zambales by 12 midnight. Since we are all excited for this trip, we arrived late. We moved as fast as we could just to learn that the bus plane will take off at around 1 am.

At last, we finally boarded the bus to tussle for the next 7 hours of pain on our ass.

Triple happiness at Double Happiness stopover.

Touch down!!

Photo op with Mr. Moo.

Eugene, me, JV, and Potipot Island.

Shali, JV, me, Kuya, and another Kuya. We’re all set for our 10 minute banca ride.

On our second day, we welcomed the mighty sun with shots of booze.

This is how Road Runner and his friend plays frisbee.

On a more serious note. Shali, JV, Eugene, and myself.
Our Potipot Island getaway was a blast!!! And oh… If you're planning to spend sometime at this island, make sure you have all your essentials with you. Or else, you won’t forget the skyrocketting prices of goods in there if the bankeros will have to buy em for you. Well, we spent one grand for canned goods + mangos + cigarettes + local liquor. Deymn!!!

On second chances and second thoughts

A bouquet of flowers freshly picked from the lobby

While doing my third world tasks at the office, I received a notice that something was delivered for me at the lobby. So I sprinted out of the journals building off to the main building and the next thing, I was standing right next to the messenger, holding a bouquet of flowers, mouth agape, frothing. Opening the floodgate were the words:

 Gabby,

Every day without you is like slow painful death. I’ll die every day until the day you come back.

I ♥ U,

Rye

That was my ex-boyfriend over there courting his way for another chance, for the candy sprinkles and cherries on top, for forgiveness, and for the rest of his life in paradise.

I would love to, I miss you…

But I’m dying. I’m half-alive.
